According to the Capacity Needs Assessment for improving Agricultural Statistics in Uganda Document, Agriculture is a key driver of Uganda’s economy accounting for 70% of employment, providing half of all exports and one-quarter of GDP in Uganda. Thus, enhancing its performance is central to food security and sustainable poverty reduction. It is on such grounds that AHI-Uganda through the Bugiri branch has joined efforts with partners for the positive progress of the Agriculture program.To support Households with Orphans and Vulnerable Children affected with poverty and malnutrition.
