At AHI Uganda, we believe that practical skills and entrepreneurial knowledge are powerful tools for lasting change. Our Skilling Program equips women, youth, and vulnerable community members with hands-on training and business skills that open doors to income generation, self-reliance, and brighter futures.

Through our Youth Skilling Project and US-based practical entrepreneurship classes, participants learn real-world skills to start and grow sustainable businesses. We focus on areas that matter most in communities across Wakiso, Kampala, and beyond—helping individuals turn ideas into income and build stronger households.

Our approach combines skills training with mindset change and character development. We don’t just teach a trade; we empower people to think differently, take initiative, and create opportunities for themselves and those around them. Whether supporting women-led enterprises or equipping young people with tools for employment and entrepreneurship, every session is designed to foster independence and dignity.
